Great Friday night for a date!!
Oh and the fun we had...just the two of us! We started out at the Cliff House (bay side) with wonderful whiskey crab soup and top sirloin and ended with a creme brulee' and a night cap at Scotty Brown's! He wanted to finish the night with a movie, but Star Trek is not on my top list of movies I want to see this year, so we took a walk outside in this beautiful early summer weather instead! Life doesn't get any better than this!!!

Down on the farm...preschool style!
Last field trip of the year we spent at Hovander Park with the preschool kids! Thank goodness Kelly and I got home from work on time and not called in because we were the trustworthy chaperone's. I'm not going to mention how many coffee runs this morning entailed, but all went well (except when we walked past the smell of the pig pens)! All I can say is that next time I will put something more substantial in my stomach other than caffeine!!!
~Happy Thursday!!

Change of plans...
...I have decided to change the below outfits a touch, BUT will totally be a fun surprise!!! Stay tuned for awesome Schweigert Family photo's!!!
I always knew I was a little off...
I am so excited for our family pictures on Saturday, but am completely up in arms on what we should wear? I LOVE these two pillowcase dresses I ordered for the girls from etsy.com, but cannot quite match anything for Chris and I...so I need your help! I want LOT's of color, and time is of the essence, I only have until Saturday...

Nonintended washroom remodel in 2 days!
Chris's family is coming for Memorial Day weekend, and we absolutely need more room and more bathrooms, and since the girls are so adamant about not sharing theirs...we decided to improvise. And that is exactly what we did!!!
However, if I knew we would be remodeling, I would have replaced the floor and repainted beforehand. But for 2 days work, and time an issue, I think we did pretty well???

I'm a teenage groupie!!!
So here it is, my new favorite past time, The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer.
I started to read the first book after it was given to me by a friend, and I honestly cannot put it down. Since college I haven't really been involved in reading anything but nursing journals and home improvement books, until now! (To be honest, Chris said he didn't even know I knew how to read-ha ha)!
I am enamoured with the love story of Bella and Edward and the twists of vampires and werewolves. What is also really interesting is the plot is set in Forks, WA not far from here and the weather no different. I highly recommend these books to everyone....and YOU too can be a groupie just like me!!!

What's the deal?
So everyone's sick, yet again! And how does this work...they keep me up all night and while I'm getting ready for work they decide to hop in my bed (the only clean one in the house) and take a nap??? I guess I'm just being a little bit of a sourpuss, because I too would LOVE a little nappy time!!! But, there is an end in sight and guess what Daddy??? You're on deck!!!

Sand in my toes!
Happy Mother's Day!
No words can explain the beautiful flowers I received this weekend for Mother's Day...and for some reason, they keep coming!!!
Being my 5th one (and all), I have been overwhelmed with all the beautiful flowers I have received from not only my children, but my husband and Godchildren also!!! It has been a very special weekend, and I wish good happy thoughts and prayers to all mothers of the world, and especially my "own" mothers (you know who you are)!!!
