Tonight we were invited to a community celebration of stories, writers, and readers at Piper's elementary school. It was a chance for her to share her work, read her stories, and engage us in her everyday life as a first grader.

St. Patrick's Day

Today was spent at a local pub taking in all the festivities and eating the traditional Irish food of corned beef and shepard's pie!

German Paper Doll

For heritage week, Piper was asked to make her very own paper doll based on her ancestry. With a little bit of help, she was able to reconstruct "Gretel" pretty well!

Cookie Time

Girls Scouts are in full effect at the stores lately, and after Paige saw them selling cookies, she decided that she too wanted to be one. She raced home to scrounge through the closets to find her own "mock" cookie hat and purse bag so she too could join the cookie fun! Now we just need to find someone to bake the cookies!
