Love Notes

A couple weeks ago, Piper started to make little "love notes" at school and then would leave them in inconspicuous places for us to find. And because I didn't want to throw them away, I would hang them from our little "dead tree" in our entry way. This little project has become so fun that we all have started to make and leave "love notes" for everyone to find (even Daddy started to play as he left one out while I was at work {it still counts even if it was made with a post it note!}). This just might be one of our traditions we will play yearly in preparation for the biggest "love day" of the year, VALENTINES DAY!!

A look back at Superbowls past

I don't even remember who was playing (you could ask Papa Joe), but Piper and Papa shared this special day together doing "pull tabs" and watching the big game!!

Touchdown!

Over the past two weeks, Piper's class was instructed to read as many books as possible for homework. If they reached 100 yards (books), they would have a football party to celebrate.

Not only did they score a touchdown, but they doubled their goal and read nearly 200 books (including Pipers 11). So they all dressed in their funnest athletic gear, ate cupcakes and watched "You're in the Super Bowl, Charlie Brown"!!

How to make the perfect cupcake party: step 9

Make sure to set your alarm clock extra early tomorrow because it's going to be a really fun day!
