New Do's 4 School

Is it possible??

That both of my girls will be going to school this year (Piper to kindergarten and Paige to preschool)??? Oh, where did my babies go???

Moral of this long convoluted sob story you ask; I hope I taught them right? I hope I gave them the right basics to start with?And how do I incorporate this on a daily basis to remind them???

The solution literally hit me upside the head at TJ Maxx today when I found these beautiful art pieces by Anne Tavoletti (to match their zoo bathroom, I might add). Not only did I pay a phenomenal price for them, but every day while the girls are brushing their teeth they will be reminded of just how wonderful they really are and the life lessons to start their day!!!

Last days of summer on the lake

Isn't it fun having birthday parties at a friends house on the lake (even if the high only reached 68 degrees)???

Say hello to my little friends

After nearly 3 years living in this house, we were finally able to fix the pond/waterfall and clean it out making it our very own. And with a quick trip (nearly 2 hours) at Bakerview Nursery, we came home with the most lovely finishing touches (plant life and 2 spotted goldfish; Lily & Stephanie).

Yes, we slept in a tent outside (and it still counts even if it was only in our backyard)!! Maybe we'll venture outside our yard in the near future for a real "camping" adventure??
