Only Half Crazy...13.1

Today I ran my very first half marathon (13.1 miles) with some of my most favorite people.  Setting a personal goal of mine (both finishing and running a pace of 9:50/mile), I am ecstatic beyond words.  Thanks also to my great family for "tailgating" and cheering me through one of my lifelong goals!

This past week we spent in Las Vegas with my parents and sister taking in all the attractions of sin city. 

Las Vegas-The Pool

Nothing beats 110 degree dry heat but 11 acres of sand, 4 pools (including a wave pool and lazy river), and an ice cold margarita.

Alta Lake

Last weekend was spent at Alta Lake with two other close families.  Tent camping, food off the BBQ, and long days at the beach is how we spent the beautiful 85 degree weather.
