After nearly 3 years living in this house, we were finally able to fix the pond/waterfall and clean it out making it our very own. And with a quick trip (nearly 2 hours) at Bakerview Nursery, we came home with the most lovely finishing touches (plant life and 2 spotted goldfish; Lily & Stephanie).

Yes, we slept in a tent outside (and it still counts even if it was only in our backyard)!! Maybe we'll venture outside our yard in the near future for a real "camping" adventure??

An Old West Kind of Sunday

Yesterday we were invited to dinner at one of Chris's co-workers homes for a fun afternoon in the "Old West"! Unbeknownst to me, they had a beautiful ghost town with saloon and guest quarters. And after a wonderful homemade buffalo pot roast with all the fixings, the girls were able to go out and tend to the horses.
