Hi! I am Mary's husband Chris and I have decided to hijack her blog and tell you why I decided we do not need a new bedroom set!!!

• I am a pain in the rear!
• I think it is okay to sleep on a mattress on the floor (for the rest of my life)!
• I LOVE oak, and we cannot come to a mutual agreement on wood craftsmanship!
• We NEVER need to buy any more clothing because we have NO place to put it!
• Where will I put my nightly water glass if we have new furniture (it's okay now because the water stains are already there)???

My own little water babies!

I always wanted a water baby and now I have two!!! Just one of them is a little more shy with the hose (I bet you can tell which one)!!!

True story...

...if you are going to have an fun outdoor umbrella and keep it outside on the 2nd story, you need to know a "few" basics in upkeep (and safety)!

1.) Always leave in closed position when left unattended.

2.) Make sure it is securely fastened to the weighted bottom (and if you do not have a weighted bottom...get one today)!

3.) Make sure to wear appropriate jammies in case you need to run outside to scavenger around your yard.

*If you do not follow these simple instructions, you too will have a night from h*#@, a damaged roof, and neighbors that think you are a "peeping Tom" out with a flashlight at 2am.

These are just some of our favorite summer foods and can you believe we've already had to chance to enjoy all of them! Bring on the warm weather, good food and fun trips...summer we're ready for ya!

Top ten pet peeves (this week)!!!

1. Mosquito bites
2. When your reading light goes out at 12:24am...just before the good part of the book!
3. Messy house after you just spent hours cleaning it!
4. Spending $4.35 on coffee creamer at the store down the block, when it sells for half of that across town ( I guess you spend that in gas, right?).
5. Having to wait 6 months for New Moon to come out in theaters, after watching the much anticipated trailer. http://www.newmoontrailer.com/
6. Gaining 15#'s for no reason other than I'm getting "older"!
7. (extension from #6) Having the most awesome summer clothes in my closet from last year...that don't fit!!!
8. When you go into work for the air conditioning and to get some alone time from your kids and husband (I guess this isn't a pet peeve, but I didn't know where else to put it!).
9. Spending hours on your lawn and garden, and the only thing you have to show for it is an awful sunburn (btw...the yard still looks the same, even after ALL the sweat equity).
10. The only evening television programs being Tori & Dean, Jon & Kate, or Showbiz Tonight bashing both of them!
